Well hello there, my name is Jamisen Krzyzanowski. I am a UX/UI designer from Kansas City, Missouri. I grew up in the city and have always been extremely invested in the arts. My family is incredibly creative and always encouraged artistic expression. I took several classes in art and design over the years and feel like I truly found my place with UX/UI. The idea of problem-solving and creating a user-friendly experience speaks to me and plays well into my background.

I worked in the service industry as a bartender and bar manager for the better part of a decade. This experience has helped me curate excellent communication skills, navigate stressful situations, develop efficient time management, and find creative solutions to various problems. I love talking to people about their troubles and finding innovative ways to solve them through design. It was enlightening to find a career that merged my love of design and problem-solving, while positively affecting people's lives and making solutions accessible to everyone.

As a designer, I want to help people cultivate a more effective user experience. I love to be challenged and push the boundaries when it comes to art. I feel like my prior work experience accompanied by a childhood enveloped in the arts created the perfect baseline for a successful UX/UI designer. Ideally, I would love to work locally and assist small businesses in creating a more accessible digital platform and improving their outreach. I strive to be the friendly neighborhood designer that you can grab a beer with and solve the world’s problems.
